BatAss&Co is an Art Studio based in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, on the north-western coast of Spain, Europe, led by sculptor Marcos Lorenzo, also owner of the Toy Art studio SomeStrangeThings founded in 2014 at Barcelona.
BatAss&Co was initially born as a brand manufacturing accessories for BJD dolls and similar articulated figures, and later unfolds with the natural evolution as a workshop of the SomeStrangeThings brand, extending the use of mixed analog and digital techniques in the construction of sculptures of other sizes, various materials for others artists and other artistic fields.
mainly what we do is help creators to cross in both directions the borders between traditional and modern, physical and digital processes, and we do it without complications.
Our aim is to offer professional services to artists, artisans, creators and designers who want to develop or reproduce their original ideas, who see an opportunity or don’t want to see their work blocked because they do not have access to physical, digital techniques or the ability to interrelate them. We can accompany and assist you in every step of the creative and creation process of bringing your ideas into the world.
We offer a variety of services such as mold-making, resin casting, scanning, analog and digital sculpting, 3D printing and CNC services, painting & other surface finishings. But mainly what we do is help creators to cross in both directions the borders between traditional and modern, physical and digital processes, and we do it without complications.
